Crow Lake
by Mary Lawson
In this compelling novel the narrator ‘Kate’ recounts the tragedy in her childhood which affects her character as an adult.
This is a poignant and clear portrayal of family bonds and living up to others expectations and ultimately the importance of forgiveness.
In my opinion this is a wonderful novel, the style and prose draw the reader in to the unfolding drama of one family and the repercussions of there actions in the face of adversity.
